Six Flags offers a great way for frequent visitors to save money with their souvenir bottles with free refills all season long. In the hot summer it’s important to stay hydrated and this is a way to do it without worrying about the costs of individual beverages adding up. These bottle are only $39 and can be refilled every 15 minutes at locations across the chain. With many approaching year-round it doesn’t take long to get your money back out of a souvenir cup. In addition to the sports bottles, Six Flags also offers a “paper cup” plan at a similar price where you just show your season pass and get a paper cup of soda instead. There is also an upgraded option where you can add ICEE, hot cocoa and coffee as beverage options.
Six Flags also started offering the paper cup plan for the 2026 season, something Cedar Fair had done since 2017. Instead of bringing a bottle, you just scan your season pass and are given a paper cup of soda. On the Six Flags pass Add-Ons page there are actually two options for the 2026 drink program, the 2026 ALL SEASON DRINK PLAN PAPER CUP and 2026 ALL SEASON DRINK PLAN PLUS PAPER CUP which includes ICEEs and hot beverages. These plans are priced at $36.99 and $53.99 respectively, which makes the former option comparable to the annual souvenir sports bottle. The same 15 minute rule applies between refills and the cup is smaller than a bottle, but at least you don’t have to remember and carry around something all day.

If you’re just going for the day an “all day” cup may be a better fit. For $20 you can get free refills of fountain drinks all day or $29 adds ICEE, hot cocoa and coffee. This is controlled by a wristband. If you find yourself visiting another day you can use the bottle again for just $7. So there’s a crossover point of 4 visits where the all season bottle makes sense compared to the all day bottle.

Another nice perk is that the beverage plans will be honored at other Six Flags parks for the most part. I did have one hiccup at Darien Lake not honoring the ICEE portion of my Six Flags Over Georgia plan, but they honored the soda no problem. Six Flags bottles are also honored at Enchanted Parks (that are former Six Flags Parks) this year. They’ll do bottle refills without question, but the paper cup plan will only work if purchased before April 6, 2026 and require a 2 minute trip to hospitality to activate. I’ve personally used my Six Flags paper cup plan at Great Escape and it was very easy. Enchanted parks has their own drink program too, but they’ll honor both this year during the transition.

Beverage plans can be a great bargain at theme parks. The bottles are very easy, but if you’re the type to forget it, either at home or in a ride station, then the paper cup plan is a great option. The 2027 plans are already out and look quite similar. Also, new for 2027, if you get a prestige pass you’ll get a paper cup plan included! Stay hydrated and save money with a Six Flags beverage plan.
