Here’s my experience and review of visiting Enchanted Parks Great Escape (formerly Six Flags) using my Six Flags Over Georgia Gold Pass with All Parks Passport. The bottom line was that everything wasn’t seamless, but the Great Escape team did a great job at making everything work in the end. This included complementary parking, admission and even my drink plan.

Upon arriving the first sign that things might not work perfectly was when my card wasn’t recognized at the parking toll both. However, the attendant waved us through anyway which was great. Our cards also didn’t work at admissions who sent us over to guest services. There was no line there and we were quickly told that we were in the Six Flags system, but not automatically ported over to Enchanted Parks for some reason. Not to worry though, they just issued us new Enchanted season passes instead free of charge! We took those to admissions and activated them like you normally would with a theme park season pass.

We were also told our drink plan would still work, but we would need to visit hospitality to add it to our new Enchanted Pass. This literally took about 30 seconds and we were good to go. The drink plan worked flawlessly after that point. It was essentially the same as the Six Flags paper cup program, but the park also offers the all season refill bottles too. I have no idea if a Six Flags bottle would be honored or not, but I was thrilled that they still honored the Six Flags drink plan.

So everything did not work perfectly the first time, in fact nothing did. However the Enchanted Parks teams were on top of it with fast and friendly service that made everything right. If you have a Six Flags season passes with All Parks Passport don’t hesitate to visit Great Escape. You may spend 5 extra minutes total at customer service making everything work, but after that you’ll be able to enjoy a sincerely great park. Six Flags passes will only be honored here through the end of the year, so if you have this benefit, use it before it disappears. A more complete review of the park is coming soon!
