Six Flags Great Adventure has announced their  has officially launched sales for 2027 season passes Tuesday saw the announcement of their brand-new record-breaking 382-foot spinning roller coaster, Bakunawa and their new 2027 season pass plans. The bottom line is It looks like things are getting a tad more expensive 2026, but there are at least a couple of new nice benefits. The prices below are for Great Adventure with a massive new ride, so prices for other parks may be $10-$20 cheaper, but I’d expect them to be similar. Last year I was able to get a free “All Parks Passport” with my Six Flags Over Georgia season pass with the 2025 MVP Promotion (which was a stupid good deal) that I’ve used a bunch this year. It appears going forward the only way to do this is the Prestige Pass, but it is nice that the Prestige Pass now offers free beverages!

2027 Pass Options & Pricing

• Gold Pass: Sale price is $89/ea (regularly $115). Includes admission to all East Coast Six Flags parks, free general parking, and all-season access. Renew by September 7, 2026, to get a free Bring-a-Friend ticket.
• Prestige Pass: Sale price is $229/ea (regularly $275). Includes VIP access to all Six Flags parks, preferred parking, free fountain beverages every visit, 2 free bring-a-friend tickets annually, and a 15% merchandise/food discount. Renew by September 7, 2026, for an extra bring-a-friend ticket and $20 in-park credit

So Six Flags is breaking the country into the 4 regions of East, West, Midwest and Texas. Your Gold Pass will get you into any park in your home park region, but you will need a prestige pass to go outside your region. Note that you must activate your pass at your “home” park before using it elsewhere. If you have the Prestige Pass you get into all the parks, but if you have, the Prestige all Season Fast Lane it appears to exclude Cedar Point for some reason.

The Gold Pass seems to be in the same ballpark price, but the Prestige Pass appears to have gone up some. It is nice that it includes free drinks as that’s regularly about $35, but the cost of being able to visit every park in the chain is going up (and there are a few less with the sale of several parks to Enchanted). If you’re going outside your region for more than one day with tickets and parking it’s still probably cheaper to get the Prestige Pass than pay out of pocket. Still, I can’t complain as these are reasonable prices given the number of properties and the changes are much less radical than the massive changes coming to the Six Flags meal plans. Be sure to travel in your region and see new parks, there’s some great stuff out there and it’s all free to you!
