Wild Adventures has always excelled at helping their local community with food drives, toy drives and other charitable efforts.  As part of their 30th Anniversary, they have created a Round Up Partners program on their online store. So, for example, if you purchase a $99 2027 Gold Pass online like I did earlier this week ($94 as a renewal), you’ll be given the opportunity to round up to the next dollar for charity. Each month there will be a new local partner that you can donate to and with tax you’ll inevitably end up with an odd number to round up. This will work for anything you purchase online including admission tickets, a cabana or a Season Pass.

This is a great program and it can potentially make a major impact for a local charity. If we all help a little, together we can do big things. One of the most well known “Roundup” programs Panda Cares at Panda Express where register round-ups and in-store donation boxes have collected over $333 million since 2010! This is of course an “apples to oranges” comparison (or perhaps “pandas to giraffes”) when comparing thousands of locations to just one, but pennies can add up.

Wild Adventures 2027 Gold Pass for $99 is a crazy good deal with parking and a refillable cup included. You’ll also get some free “bring-a-friend” tickets and 50% off tickets to most other Herschend properties like Dollywood and Silver Dollar City. It brought a smile to learn the Roundup Program this week, but I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised as Wild Adventures always seems to be helping out their community in Valdosta.
