Rocky Mountain Construction (RMC) roller coaster ArieForce One at Fun Spot Atlanta closed on August 2, 2026. Everyone is hopeful it will be relocated somewhere, but it probably won’t be in Georgia as its future is unknown. However, there’s still an RMC coaster in Georgia and it’s pretty darn good. Twisted Cyclone is located at Six Flags Over Georgia and opened in 2018 as a conversion of the former Georgia cyclone. Twisted Cyclone features 3 inversions and 10 airtime hills. It was designed by RMC coaster legend Alan Schilke. It’s on the shorter side at 2,400 feet, but packs one heck of a punch.

Twisted Cyclone is not ArieForce One, but we should not let near perfection be the enemy of very good. From its great trains to its relentless pace, if you liked ArieForce One (AFO), you’ll like Twisted Cyclone too. It’s not an AFO replacement as it’s slightly slower, shorter and not as tall, but it’ll sure remind you of it. The ejector forces on Twisted Cyclone are fierce and the inversions are silky smooth, but most importantly it’s just fun. So although we’re all sad about the temporary (hopefully not permanent) loss of ArieForce One, let’s be grateful that we still have a great RMC in Georgia with Twisted Cyclone.
