It’s May the 4th (Star Wars Day) and there really aren’t connections between that movie franchise and the park, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t Hollywood connections. Probably the closest thing to “Star Wars” were several episodes of a Travel Channel show called “Insane Coaster Wars”. The episode above features Sheikra at Busch Gardens Tampa, but another episode featured Montu.

If you check IMDB you’ll find that there has been everything from an episode of American Idol, a 2001 TV special about Super Bowl commercials, a family drama called Second Noah and the long running Wildlife Docs series. Theme parks can make a great backdrop for a story and it’s also great to see recognizable sites during a show.
