During a recent trip to LEGOLAND Florida we got a chance to visit the FIFA® World Cup 2026 Experience. This experience is exclusively at LEGOLAND Resorts from June 11th through July 19th. It is a high-energy soccer celebration, featuring LEGO soccer heroes, interactive soccer games and a LEGO build activity. All of this is 100% free and included in your regular LEGOLAND admission. The experience is essentially in two parts with an amazing Lego display near the park entrance just past the LEGO shop and several interactive games in the Heartlake City near Mia’s Riding Adventure. My 9-year-old son had a blast playing the games and you’ll have some great photo opportunities across the experience. At the LEGO shop you’ll also find some great World Cup merch to take home with you as a souvenir too.

As you enter the park you’ll quickly see the giant LEGO display of several brick-built versions of soccer icons including Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappé, Vini Jr. and Lionel Messi. This is a great photo opportunity that people were taking advantage of all day. Each of the player brick-builds has information on its base with regard to the number of blocks, weight and hours it took to construct.

As you venture down the path there’s a sign pointing you to the second part of the experience which includes several interactive games and a LEGO build activity. This is in a nice area along the water in the Heartlake City area of the park with grass almost as beautiful as a World Cup stadium. You can begin by heading over to the building tables to design and build your dream soccer uniform using LEGO bricks and then proudly display your creation on the Heroes of Play Wall.

Next you’ll get to play 3 soccer games based on passing and shooting as well as test your goalkeeping abilities. The three games are Spot Shot, Super Squad and The Kick Off! In Sport Shot you’ll have 30 seconds to test your accuracy and aim for several colored targets. In Super Squad you practice passing by standing at color-coded towers in a fenced circle and passing to the next called color as quickly as possible over 1 minute. In The Kick Off you try to score as many goals as possible over 30 seconds against a LEGO minifigure goalie that a friend can control.

You’ll then get your chance to stand on the winner’s podium and take a picture with the LEGO World Cup trophy replica. The staff will take pics for you and they turn out great with the backdrop. Each of the games were loads of fun and should be enjoyable even if your kids have never kicked a soccer ball before. The staff working these games were energetic, helpful and very friendly which really added to the experience. The whole FIFA World Cup 2026 Experience will probably take you around 30 minutes and my review of it couldn’t be more positive. It perfectly marries together LEGO and soccer with fun and creativity.

If you want a souvenir of your experience or the World Cop in general the LEGO Shop has you covered. You’ll find player specific sets for players like Lionel Messi, a LEGO World Cup trophy replica and a LEGO Editions Soccer Ball that opens to reveal a LEGO soccer stadium. These are all great looking sets that would be perfect for display for as a souvenir of the the 2026 World Cup.

For the next 2 months World Cup soccer will be at the center of the sport’s universe. I’ve used the term “soccer”, but many will call it “futbol” or “fútbol”, but it is most definitely this is the World’s favorite game. The 2026 World Cup is being held in North America with games in the United States, Mexico and Canada which is helping reintroduce the game to the casual American consciousness. Tickets are expensive and hard to get, so this may be a great alternative World Cup experience for those unable to attend a game. You’ll leave having had a lot of fun along with some great pictures and memories. If you’re a Fan of soccer or just in Central Florida this summer, make it a “GOAL” to visit the FIFA® World Cup 2026 Experience at LEGOLAND Florida!
