Review of the Spectacular New Splashville Water Park in Bartow County

We had a chance to go to a soft opening of Bartow County’s new Splashville water park prior to the grand opening on May 23, 2026. This new facility is at Hamilton Crossing just north of Cartersville, Georgia. Quite simply, Splashville is spectacular and will be a gem of a facility for Bartow County for years to come. The slides, lazy river and pools are all fun with perfect depths for both kids and adults. There are places for playing, swimming and just relaxing. For the thrill seekers the enclosed slide is fast and the size and speed of the lazy river is as good as many theme parks. Splashville is a great facility at a great price that the whole family can enjoy.

The core elements of the park a large central pool, 10-foot-wide lazy river which interacts with the pool, two flume slides and a separate interactive splash pad pool. The lazy river is said to be the longest lazy river in Georgia for a municipal water park. It has one strong current and has interactive water elements along it. The flume slides are fun, especially the blue enclosed one which is quite fast and lands in a small pool while yellow flume is slower and has a simple runout of about 1 foot in depth. The kids area has smaller slides for the little kids too, there really is something for all ages with tons of lifeguards to keep everyone safe. The water depth is typically between 3-4 feet, but the kids area maxes out at just one foot. Admission for the park is $9 for kids and adults, $7 for seniors and under 2 is free.

2026 Splashville Admission Rates

  • Under 2: Free
  • Ages 2-59: $9 daily / $110 season pass
  • Seniors (60+): $7 daily / $75 season pass
  • Family Pass: $300 (up to 4 people)

The design of the park is well thought out with the pools, slides and lazy river making great use of the space. The entrance to the park is right next to the parking with a ticket booth up front. The park has great landscaping too with trees and flowers.

The park has everything you need for amenities from lounge chairs, pavilions, family restrooms, lockers, gazebos for rent and a reasonably priced snack bar. Lockers are available for $2, a cabana is $65 and the pavilion can be rented for 4 hours or all day for $145 and $280 respectively. In these early days a cabana reservation can also guarantee you access if the park hits capacity.

Overall it’s hard to find a flaw with Splashville. It accomplishes everything it sets out to do in providing water fun the whole family can enjoy. This is not Six Flags White Water, but that’s not what it’s trying to be. This is a local municipal water park that delivers a fun, safe, convenient and affordable option compared to a larger theme park water park. The value is tremendous with admission of $9/person day here with free parking and cheap food versus $50/person at Six Flags White Water. The only thing this place may need is more parking as with the great price and quality this place will be packed this summer. If you live in Bartow County be sure to check out Splashville ASAP!
