Update September 2025: It appears according to the LegoLand website that this will be a space themed coaster, the park’s first since 2011. “Get ready to blast off! In early 2026, LEGOLAND® Florida Resort is launching an all-new space-themed experience featuring our most technologically advanced indoor coaster ever — a fully immersive mission from liftoff to landing.” It will feature a themed queue as you launch from Spaceport 885 (named after the original LEGO® Space Scooter set #885)!

In late March 2025 Merlin Entertainments announced they were building new family indoor roller coasters at both LEGOLAND Florida and LEGOLAND California. This was reported to be a $90 million investment in what were described as “first-of-its-kind” attractions for and “an exhilarating ride and storyline that only LEGOLAND Parks can deliver for families with children ages 2 to 12.” On a trip to the area on April 3, 2025 it appeared that the new building would be completely enclosed that day! Here are some pictures from Old Helena Road outside the park and a construction update.

Details on the new ride are pretty scarce right now, but the park promises more clues through their social channels in the coming months. It was also interesting to see the building basically empty as often on an indoor coaster the track is constructed first and the building around it after, but this is not always the case. It’s also interesting to think of an “exhilarating” coaster a 2 year old could ride, but I guess we’ll see! It’s great seeing them get another indoor attraction having spent a frustrating rainy day at LEGOLAND Florida several years ago(although they did give us complimentary tickets for another day). It will be exciting to watch the construction, especially when track shows up.
