A Trip to LEGOLAND May Inspire you to Try to Break the Fastest 100 Meter Run Barefoot on LEGO Bricks World Record

Have you ever stepped on a LEGO on the floor?

There are a bunch of memes about accidentally stepping on LEGOS, but there is one woman who did quite intentionally to set a world record. Gabrielle Wall of New Zealand broke a world record for fastest 100 meter run barefoot on LEGO bricks in a time of 24.75 seconds. Gabrielle is a mom of two and may have accidentally stepped on a brick or two, but the track was made using over 600 pounds of LEGO bricks.

At first I thought this could be a fun event for a place like LEGOLAND Florida to host, but things like injury liability may get in the way. It may be entertaining to watch, but participants may have a painful day. However, if you have a bunch of LEGO bricks and want to try to break a world record, this may be your opportunity! Of course if running on bricks doesn’t sound like fun there are a bunch of other LEGO records like the Tallest LEGO Tower with the current record being 114 feet 11 inches.
