I was at the Bartow County 4th of July celebration and they had rides from Phantom Entertainment, a carnival/midway company. Phantom had a couple interesting rides including the “Wrecking Ball” and “Tubs-of-Fun”. Wrecking Ball had a “Stay Back Puke Zone!” sign which I had never seen before. It essentially just rocked and gently spun. “Tubs-of-Fun” is akin to a “teacups” ride where you can control the spin. I visited their website as I was curious to get more info on Wrecking Ball and stumbled on a toilet themed ride called “Go Racers”!

The description on the Phantom Entertainment website for “Go Racers” describes the ride pretty generically: “Go Racers brings the excitement of competitive racing to your event. Our racing simulator provides a realistic and thrilling experience that guests of all ages will love. Perfect for corporate team building, birthday parties, festivals, and any event where you want to add competitive fun. Multiple racers can compete simultaneously for maximum excitement!” This seems a little bland for, “you race on toilets with wheels!” Upon some more looking it appears a lot of midway/carnival companies have racing toilets and you can even buy your own racing toilet for home!

Sometimes at a carnival you can find some pretty unique ride experiences. You probably won’t find “Go Racers” at your local theme park, but if you see it on a midway it will no doubt make for some great pictures.
