How do you track roller coaster credits, rides and parks visited? I’m a huge fan of the LogRide App. LogRide can track your rides and parks visited and currently catalogs 4,600+ parks, 5,600+ roller coasters and 74,800+ attractions worldwide. It’s super easy to use and comes in both a free version as well as a “pro” version for $0.99/month which gives you enhanced statistics. The app is easy to use while at the park and even has an Apple Watch version. The amount of data here is intense including trip reports, miles traveled on coaster track, total inversions and even steps walked inside of parks. You’ll also find ride information pictures and reviews from other users along with current wait times and show times for many parks. LogRide will quickly become your go-to app inside parks, sometimes more than the theme park’s own app!

The app is also great for new park and ride discovery. One of my favorite features is “Coasters within 100 miles” where the app will automatically give you a list of all coasters within that radius. I find myself checking it when I’m on a business trip or a vacation to see what might be nearby. You can also use the interactive map to find parks and rides literally worldwide.

If you’re a stats person you’ll love all the ways you can slice your data. Stuff like coaster count only begins to scratch the surface as you look at rides by manufacturer, active/defunct rides, parks visited, dark rides, water rides, ACE Landmarks ridden and many more. You can also track metrics like inversions experienced in a year, fastest speed, tallest height and many more. LogRide will also create trip reports and using its calendar you can see what you did on any given day. The app is frequently updated with the latest new attractions and closures while also giving the users the chance to submit updates to the developers themselves.

Not only can it track ride experiences, but it can also track health related stats like your mileage and steps inside of theme parks. This way you’ll know how your roller coaster habit may be leading to better health! I was shocked at my first complete year end review of 2023 where I walked 174 miles in theme parks and If you add it all up from 2022-2025 I’m approaching 500 miles!

I’d highly recommend LogRide for both tracking your credit count, finding new places to visit and tracking health related stats. If you’re using paper or an Excel spreadsheet LogRide could allow you to track so much more than just ride names and dates. This is a great piece of software that you’ll find yourself using for trip planning and in the park itself that may have you finding new locations that you didn’t know existed too. The passion of the developers for theme parks is obvious, this is an app made for park lovers by park lovers and LogRide is definitely worth checking out.
