I visited Peppa Pig Theme Park at LegoLand Florida with no kids while visiting Winter Haven on a business trip and had a very enjoyable couple of hours. I mainly went to get the roller coaster credit for Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, but found myself really enjoying and appreciating the rest of the park as well. The roller coaster is really phenomenal for what it is (a kiddie coaster), but the overall atmosphere is very lighthearted and pleasant. You’ll basically be able to do everything in a couple of hours and if you plan your visit accordingly you can do it at a reasonable price too.

One of the first things you’ll notice about Peppa Pig Theme Park is that it’s relatively small. You can essentially see 100% of the park when you walk through the entrance. The entire park is maybe the size of a smaller themed land in a Disney or Universal park at just 4.5 acres and is built on part of the LegoLand parking lot. For comparison Galaxy’s Edge is 14 acres, Toy Story Land is 11 acres and Super Nintendo World is about 8 acres. The park opened in 2022 and is the first non-Lego related theme park to open in a Legoland Resort as Peppa Pig is owned by Hasbro. It is interesting that it is a separate gate as, although Lego does not own the Peppa Pig intellectual property (IP), many parks like Universal have licensed outside IP for use in their parks such as Harry Potter or Nintendo.

The park’s website only claims 16 attractions, but when you take out playgrounds, the maze and shows you’re really left with only left with 5 rides. Two of these rides really stand out in Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster and Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure. The roller coaster is simply phenomenal for what it is with great theming and a fun ride for what is nearly the ideal first roller coaster for a kid. We wrote a whole blog post just about Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster. Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure lets you ride a galloping dinosaur through a fun interactive course that will have you smiling the whole time. Note that on Grampy’s and some of the other smaller flat rides it was inferred by some signage that adults needed to be accompanied by a child, but we had no issues and the staff were friendly and never mentioned a word about the policy.

The other rides are somewhat typical flat rides, but themed to Peppa Pig. These include Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat ride which is small rotating flat ride on water, Mr. Bull’s High Striker which is a kid’s drop tower and Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride which is an elevated rotating flat ride. In addition to the rides there’s a splash pad, several playgrounds, nature trail, small maze, tricycle course, a “Fun Fair” with free games, an indoor cinema and even a sandy Beach for kids to play on. The park also has a stage with a couple of rotating shows with Peppa Pig characters that often have meet and greets after, but there are tons of statues around for great picture moments if you don’t want to wait in line.

Park ticket prices are variable based on day and season, varying from $34 to to $59 currently, so pick your day accordingly. Holidays and weekends are the most, but many summer weekdays are at the $34 level. My visit was a standalone visit, but you can also get Peppa Pig included with a LegoLand ticket for as little as $100 where the cheapest LegoLand Florida ticket is $74. There are tons of different combinations including the water park and Sea Life Aquarium, but generally Peppa Pig will add about $25 to a combo ticket. These are prices from the website for advanced purchase (gate purchase are generally more), but of course there are always promotions and discounts to be found online or even coupons on Lego sets.
I had lunch here and it was a surprisingly good meal. Most of the menu is geared towards kids, but there are a few more adult choices. I had the pot roast sandwich which was excellent and a fruit cup. The restaurant is well decorated and a great place to cool off from the hot Florida sun. The prices are about what you would expect from a theme park and everything seemed very fresh. I also didn’t see any pork on the menu which is a good thing!

One thing to be aware of is the relatively high cost of parking at $35. Peppa Pig shares the LegoLand Florida parking lot and the price of parking can actually cost you more than the price of the theme park ticket which on the cheapest days can be only $34. There is a rideshare drop-off which could be a cheaper option if you’re staying nearby or some hotels are also potentially in walking distance. The parking cost is something to figure into the cost, especially if you’re doing a shorter Peppa Pig only day. Also, as mentioned before this park was essentially built in a parking lot, so there’s not a ton of shade other than above some sunshades over some of the line queues and play areas, so bring your sunscreen.

So would I recommend Peppa Pig Theme Park to an adult? Even one who is not a big fan of the show? Surprisingly YES! I’ll caveat this by saying, at the right price. If you pay for parking and go on a weekend or holiday visiting the park could cost you nearly $100 for a single adult, but if you add it on to a day at LegoLand Florida or if you can walk/Uber in you could get away for as little as $25-$34 which is quite reasonable for what it is. If you’re in the area and are a theme park fan it’s definitely worth a couple hours of your time, especially if you’re going to LegoLand anyway and it’s just a small add-on.
