Also, a new event called Heroes Fest will debut Nov. 9, celebrating both comic book icons and real-life community heroes. One can argue that fall is the best time to visit a theme park between the weather and the extra attractions available!

Celebrate Friday the 13th at Busch Gardens with Lights-On Tours of the Stanglewood Estate Howl-O-Scream House!

Howl-O-Scream doesn’t start until September, but Busch Gardens is using Friday the 13th to help promote this year’s event a few months in advance. In this case they’re having a faux realtor style “open house” for Stranglewood Estate which essentially amounts to a lights-on tour opportunity. The event is actually two days, running Friday the 13th and Saturday the 14th. Halloween is big business at theme parks with year round planning for what are essentially several large extra attractions for those months. Tickets are already on sale for Howl-O-Scream 2025 at Busch Gardens Tampa and no doubt the goal of the June 13-14, 2025 event is to build excitement for this year’s event.

Tickets on Sale for New Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas Ahead of August 14, 2025 Opening!

Halloween is one of the best times to visit a theme park. The weather is cooler and in the evening many of the parks put on amazing haunted houses, scare zones and other spooky entertainment. For many people Universal’s Halloween Horror Nights is considered the best of breed. Fright Fest, Kid’s Boo Fest and Oktoberfest Return to Six Flags Over Georgia

It’s fall and as the weather turns cooler and the trees begin to change it also means it’s time for spooky season at our favorite theme parks. It seems like every park has a Halloween or fall event now, but one of the originals is Fright Fest by Six Flags with the park celebrating its 30th anniversary of the event in 2024. This year Six Flags Over Georgia is essentially operating 3 events simultaneously with Fright Fest, Kid’s Boo Fest and Oktoberfest all happening together in September and October. One of the biggest draws of these events are the haunted mazes with their unique stories/themes and this year Six Flags Over Georgia landed some great IP with houses themed to Netflix’s Stranger Things and the Saw movie franchise!
