Cirque Electric Starts May 28th at Busch Gardens!
A new show is coming to Busch Gardens this year called Cirque Electric. It will take place in the Stanleyville Theater and starts May 28th. It’s great to see live entertainment returning at the park and the fact that it doesn’t appear to be replacing any other shows and is just a new addition is even better. Veterans Plus 3 Guests Free May and June!

If you’re a veteran you and 3 guests can get into Busch Gardens free until June 27th as part of their Waves of Honor program. The catch is you have to register for the promotion by May 16th. Checkout all the information here!
It’s Mardi Gras Time!

Military and Their Family Can Get into Busch Gardens Free!

You may not be aware that Sea World (parent company of Busch Gardens) has a program where military and their family can get in for a day for free! You can find all the details on their website, but the basics are below. Great to see the park doing something to honor our troops and their families!

Halloween might be a day for monsters, but you can find monsters 365 days a year at Busch Gardens Sesame Street Safari of Fun!
I Did the Scavenger Hunt!
So in honor of their 60th anniversary Busch Gardens is running a scavenger hunt. There’s even a prize for everyone who completes it! You can grab a game card near the entrance and then look for anniversary boards throughout the park for the answers. The boards provide great history about past attractions and the park in general. Just slide the little disc around to see the answer
The one above is located near the entrance to Tigris and talks about the Tanganyika Tidal Wave ride that used to occupy that piece of land. I also included below a pic of the blank card here as to not take the fun away by giving the answers and my prize. Happy hunting!
New Sesame Street Friend at Safari of Fun this Weekend

Busch Gardens welcomes a new character this weekend. Julia will be joining Elmo, Cookie, Oscar and friends in the Safari of Fun area. Julia is an autistic character and it sounds like she will be a regular in both the shows and as a walk-around character. According to the press release:
