Slides Arrive Onsite for “Splashville” Water Park Coming to Bartow County in Cartersville, Georgia in May 2026

We’ve written before about the exciting municipal water park coming to Bartow County and the flume slides have now arrived! Work continues at the Hamilton Crossing site with construction of the stairs and structure to support the flumes. The fumes themselves are staged at the perimeter of the park awaiting install and currently there is one enclosed and one open flume. Pictures here were taken on Sunday, February 22, 2026.

The entrance plaza building also appears complete with windows to pay admission. The rest of the park is not as visually obvious yet, but we know from concept art that a pool, splash pad and lazy river are on the way. The concept art showed a “Splashville” sign in a very cool font, but nothing like that is installed yet. Hopefully there’s no copyright issues and they can actually use the Splashville name as it plays off Cartersville, Georgia so well.

The water park is adjacent to the new Bartow County Gymnasium and Recreation center (which opened January 16, 2026) and there is an immense American flag in front visible from quite a distance. There also appears to be a retention pond water feature next to the water park that’s also visible on the edge of the concept art and this should add some nice atmosphere.

The park is currently slated to open in May 2026, just 2-3 months away. There’s a lot to be done in the interim with pools to be installed, concrete poured and landscaping completed. Hopefully we get some good spring weather and it can all come together on schedule with riders in those flumes before Memorial Day!
