Alcohol at theme parks, once a rarity, is becoming increasingly common. The Busch Garden parks have always had it given their original ownership by Anheuser-Busch and alcohol availability at Disney parks is still sparse, but growing recently. Universal has had alcohol essentially since inception and fully embraced it with numerous options at Epic Universe. However, in almost all these locations (sans free beer days at Busch Gardens and SeaWorld), you’ll pay a pretty penny for a drink. However, one place breaks this mold with what is the best deal you’ll find on beer in the theme park industry and that’s Fun Spot at their Orlando, Kissimmee and Atlanta locations. You can get a 22 ounce beer in a souvenir glass for only $9.99 and refill it for just $3.99 all season long!

This is an insane beer deal at a bar or restaurant, you’d probably pay more for a 22 oz beer at your local Chili’s restaurant. At another theme park you’d pay much more, with a typical 16 oz beer at Universal going for $10-$13. In fact the only cheaper beer I’ve found is a 12 oz can of Labatt Blue at Disney’s Epcot for $8. However, these prices are for boring cans or a standard cup, not a souvenir glass you can refill for $4! In fact you’d probably struggle to find a $4 happy hour special at a small local bar. Fun Spot has several great beer choices too, this isn’t Budweiser or bust. You can currently enjoy the following:
- Kona Big Wave
- Modelo Especial
- Yuengling Lager
- Bud Light

If you have a season pass to Fun Spot and like beer this cup is a no-brainer. I’ve even heard stories of people stopping by Fun Spot Orlando for a couple rides and beers before heading over to Universal’s Hollywood Horror Nights because of the relatively cheap prices. This is a great deal on beer, so if you like roller coasters and adult beverages this is something you should check out.
