Ultimate Escape Game Atlanta features a very unique “Atlanta” escape room that is essentially based on Atlanta’s best known company, Coca Cola. This room challenges you to unlock the safe containing the “Cola” secret recipe before the clock hits zero. In addition to all things Coke, the room also showcases the city through puzzles and games representative of many Atlanta attractions and landmarks. This will be a spoiler free review, leaving out details of specific puzzles, as the hope is you’ll want to experience the Atlanta escape room for yourself and be surprised as we were throughout the experience.
Unlock a safe containing the secret Cola formula by solving puzzles and riddles centered around Atlanta’s attractions and landmarks, while learning a little more about the Peach State’s rich history.

Ultimate Escape Atlanta is located in a non-descript office complex located in the area near the Atlanta Galleria, Cumberland Mall and the Battery with Truist Park. Things like parking are super easy and right in front of the building and the lobby check-in process was seamless. In addition to the Atlanta room, Ultimate Escape Atlanta currently features 4 other rooms with several unique settings including a hacker facility, a submarine, a haunted cabin and a 1950’s mental hospital. We used a Groupon for our visit, but their normal rates are around $33/person for our group of 4 which is cheaper than most of their nearby competitors. I do like that they offer generous discounts for more players with rates as low as $27/person for a group of 8.

The rules at Ultimate Escape Atlanta are pretty standard as far as escape rooms go. You’re supposed to have a limited number of hints, but this wasn’t really enforced. This game holds a number of surprises and incorporates a lot of Atlanta sports and landmarks. The room is described online as stealing the secret “cola” recipe (probably trademark reasons), but Coke memoribilia is everywhere. This is a very “code” based room, but there are a couple pretty unique puzzles too. The website calls this a “beginner” room, but we found it more challenging than expected. We completed the room with just one second remaining! Once you complete the room you get to sign the wall to memorialize the accomplishment and have your picture taken with your choice of props.

Ultimate Escape Atlanta was overall a great experience. It has a good price point and the Atlanta room was especially unique. If you like escape rooms and you’re from Georgia you’ll surely appreciate how everything Atlanta is weaved throughout the puzzles and decor. The Coca Cola secret recipe is mythical in Atlanta with the World of Coke in downtown housing a vault experience. Ultimate Escape Atlanta gives you the chance of living the movie-style plot of trying to steal it.
