My local park, Six Flags Over Georgia (SFOG), has launched its latest season pass sale with the Most Valuable Pass (MVP) sale which will get you into 40+ parks until the end of 2026 for just $55! You can also do it as a membership at just $5.99/month with these prices good through September 2, 2025. This is such a good deal it almost seems like a mistake as last year you’d pay that just for SFOG and $100+ more for the All Parks Passport to get into all the other the legacy Six Flags and Cedar Fair parks. To top if you’ll also get a bonus free “bring-a-friend” ticket. If you get this pass the map below is your potential list of parks to visit immediately.

Please note a couple of important things with this sale to be sure you get the correct pass. The prices I’m quoting here are for SFOG and you local Six Flags park may have different pricing. You can buy a SFOG season pass and use it at your local park, but you would need to visit SFOG first to activate it. Second, SFOG would be considered your home park, so any special offers such as bonus free bring-a-friend tickets might only be valid at SFOG. Finally, there are two versions of the pass, the Gold and the Prestige pass. The Prestige pass will cost you $90 more, but you will get some extra benefits that may be worthwhile to you if you’re a frequent guest such as a VIP entrance line, 15% off food instead of 10%, preferred parking, 1 free skip the line daily and access to the VIP lounge. You’ll also get a total of 3 extra bring-a-friend tickets.

This deal almost has me thinking, “Is everything OK Six Flags?”, if you know what I mean. There have been rumblings about it being a tough summer for theme parks due to challenging weather and an uncertain economy, but this should provide a massive increase in revenue. Any coaster enthusiast should jump on this immediately and local casual fans should see this as an option priced similarly to a single day ticket with tremendous upside for future visits. Quite frankly I was expecting this to be more and would have happily paid more for this kind of access.
This is an amazing offer, the likes of which I’ve never seen in terms of value. I view this as a chance to support local theme parks and their staff that can help secure a park’s future and potentially provide us with the cool new rides. It may also spur a bit of theme park tourism (I know it will for me) as passholders may take the opportunity to check out Carowinds, Cedar Point, Magic Mountain or some other park near a vacation destination. This next year is going to be fun to see just how many of the 280 roller coasters, 970 water slides, 500 shows and 1,000+ other rides I’ll be able to get on. My LogRide app will get a workout for sure. Thanks Six Flags, the MVP Season Pass sale is awesome and this may indeed be the most valuable pass in the theme park industry!
