The park will offer this event on three different nights catering to each of the different groups. The event is priced at $90 and includes camping, meals and unlimited rides.

Friends and family are welcome to attend as long as they meet the age requirements. The event is open to children ages 6-11. Children age 5 and under may join Day 2 activities once the park opens, but they are not permitted to take part in the overnight portion of the event. The park will also be staffed throughout the event including uniformed Fun Spot Security to keep all designated areas secure (a significant portion of the cost in addition to food and unlimited ride wristbands). There is also a $60 option for non-riders or season pass holders.

If you are an Arrow of Light you can even easily earn an adventure loop at the event and we wrote a guide to earning the Engineering Cub Scout Adventure Loop at Fun Spot America Atlanta. A visit to a theme park is a great way for the scouts to learn about engineering and Fun Spot America Atlanta is perfectly suited for this adventure. Earning the Engineering Loop at Fun Spot can be as simple as watching a few YouTube videos, having a discussion, riding ArieForce One and participating in the park’s “build your own roller coaster” activity at the Scout Adventure.

This will no doubt be a memorable night for scouts that attend. It is also something to potentially help with recruiting as what kid wouldn’t want to camp at a theme park? The price is very reasonable for everything the park is offering, but with several months until the event it should give packs and troops an opportunity to do a fundraiser. Please see Fun Spot Atlanta’s website for more information and to register for the event!
