According to the Accela database it appears the Zagora Cafe is getting an overhaul. Of all the dining options in the park it was probably most in need of some refurbishments. The actual food service area looks quite dated and the dining area is essentially a covered patio. With the recent renovations the the Giraffe Bar, Springs Taproom and Coaster Coffee, it was probably next up in the rotation.

There’s not been any announcement from the park, so we don’t know what to really expect in terms of structural changes or if the menu staples of burgers and chicken fingers will be changing. Zagora has a prominent location right near the entrance and near Iron Gwazi, so it’ll be interesting to see what they do with the space.

The permits also mention some building changes to the Kangaroo area. This could be some simple repair work or perhaps something more major. There’s not a lot of structure there to begin with, mainly being some waking paths among the animal enclosures, so we’ll have to keep an eye on that too.
